Salt Slow Overview
Salt Slow is a collection of nine short stories by debut author Julia Armfield. The stories' plots are strange and supernatural—a teenage girl turns into a praying mantis, a graduate student builds the perfect man out of body parts, and a woman is surprised to find her dead girlfriend on her doorstop, six months after she was buried. The collection considers themes related to horror, the body, and dangerous women.
