Pulse Overview
"Pulse" is a dystopian young adult novel by Patrick Carman, which focuses around the Faith Daniel's realization that she is telekinetic. She lives in the vast territory between the East and West States, in the United States, and there falls in with the Drifters, a force of outcasts dedicated to defending the States. "Pulse" explores themes of friendship, family, and coming of age, and demonstrates how those themes -no matter the situation- are timeless and necessary for human life.
