Picadilly Jim Overview
P. G Wodehouse’s Piccadilly Jim is a comic novel written in third person and set in early 20th century London and New York. It follows the badly behaved, wealthy Jimmy Crocker, who attempts to change to win the heart of Ann Chester. In order to do so, he must conceal his real identity and help her kidnap a spoiled boy named Ogden. Wodehouse’s novel investigates the lives of the wealthy while examining the themes of hidden identities, the value of work, and the need for discipline.
