P.S. I Still Love You Overview
P.S. I Still Love You is the second of three books in the To All the Boys I Have Loved Before series by Jenny Han. Lara Jean Song Covey’s teenage life is in turmoil. After a video of Lara Jean and her boyfriend, Peter Kavinsky, was submitted to the Instagram site Anonybitch, everyone assumes she has had sex with Peter. However, the video is misleading because they had only kissed. To make matters worse, Peter cannot seem to leave his ex-girlfriend, Genevieve, in the past. Lara Jean breaks up with Peter when she discovers that he knew it was Genevieve who submitted the hot tub video to Anonybitch. Meanwhile, Lara Jean has gotten back in touch with John Ambrose McClaren, a friend from grade school. Lara Jean wonders how things might be different if she dated him. At the same time she knows that she is still in love with Peter. Themes in the novel include the inevitability of change, the presence of racial bias against Asians, and the Korean concept of jung.
