Once There Were Wolves Overview
Once There Were Wolves is a novel by Charlotte McConaghy. The story follows Inti Flynn, a wolf researcher from Australia who is part of a project to reintroduce wolves to Scotland. The project will help to reverse the negative ecological impacts of humans hunting wolves. However, many locals oppose the project and view it as dangerous. As events within the town grow more tense and violent, Inti must work to save her project, her sister, and herself. The novel explores themes of violence, trauma, morality, and nature.
