Night Boat to Tangier is a novel by Irish writer Kevin Barry. The novel centers on two Irishmen—Maurice Hearne and Charlie Redmond—waiting at the port of Algeciras, Spain. They are in their early fifties and are awaiting the arrival of Dilly, Maurice’s estranged, 23-year-old daughter.
