Never Mind (Patrick Melrose) Overview
Never Mind, by Edward St. Aubyn, is the first book in the Patrick Melrose series of novels. The book takes place in the 1960s, when Patrick Melrose is five years old. His father, David Melrose, is highly abusive, and his mother, Eleanor Melrose, is an alcoholic.
