“Medusa Gets a Haircut” is a six-stanza free-verse poem by speculative poet Theodora Goss. It transposes characters from Greek mythology into a modern-day relationship, using the relationship to examine themes of toxicity and personal identity. This poem first appeared in Uncanny Magazine in 2021, then in Goss’s The Collected Enchantments in 2023.
