Becky Albertalli’s young adult fiction novel Leah on the Offbeat is a warm, relatable story. As a sequel to the award-winning book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, Albertalli writes the witty, often sarcastic, yet loving perspective of Simon’s closest female friend Leah Burke in her final semester of her senior year at Creekwood High School.
