The historical fiction book, How it Went Down by Keekla Magoon, tells the tragic tale of a young black teen who is gunned down on the sidewalk in his neighborhood while returning from the store on an errand for his mother. What follows in the wake of his death is the investigation into his death and the misinformation that surrounded the circumstances of his death.
