Girl in Snow Overview
Danya Kukafka's novel, Girl in Snow, tells the story of three residents of a town called Broomsville whose lives merge as the police investigate the murder of fifteen year old Lucinda Hayes who attends the town's high school. Two of these people, Cameron and Jade attend the same high school. The third person is Russ, a policeman who is on the case. As the investigation continues, these characters face secrets and issues that cause them to struggle as they try to find their respective identities. Themes related to voyeurism, love, secrets, art, and falsehood appear throughout the narrative.
