Flush is the story of Noah Underwood, a boy who lives in the Florida Keys with his mother, father, and younger sister. The story opens with Noah visiting his father in jail, because his father sank a gambling boat. His father sank the boat because the owner was dumping sewage into the water. When their father has to quit pursuing the owner of the casino boat, Noah and his sister Abbey decide to expose the owner themselves and prove that their father is not a liar. Noah and his sister come up with a plan to show that the owner of the gambling boat is polluting the water. With a little help from an ex-employee of the casino boat and his bartender girlfriend, Noah and his sister find the perfect way to reveal the pollution. Along the way, Noah and his sister stop a couple bullies, help save his parents’ marriage, and have a reunion with a long-lost grandfather.
