Everything you need to understand or teach Exhibit by R. O. Kwon.
In R. O. Kwon's novel Exhibit, Jin Han has been unable to take photos since the end of her New York photography exhibit. Then at a party one night, Jin meets a ballerina named Lidija Jung with whom she forms a singular connection. Throughout the months following, Jin distances herself from her husband Philip in order to spend more time in secret with Lidija. As the women's relationship evolves over time, Jin begins to ask herself what she wants, who she is, and what she is willing to sacrifice for her art. Written from Jin's first person point of view, the novel explores themes including identity, shame, and entrapment.
