Dog on It Summary: Dog on It is a 2009 mystery novel by Spencer Quinn. The novel is narrated by Chet, the canine partner of Bernie Little – a private detective who is having a run of bad luck that just doesn’t seem to quit – and follows their investigation into the disappearance and possible kidnapping of 15-year-old Madison Chambliss. Told completely from a dog’s unique – and surprisingly insightful – point of view, Dog on It is the first novel in the Chet and Bernie Mystery series and is followed by 2010’s Thereby Hangs a Tail.
