Everything you need to understand or teach Delight in Disorder by Robert Herrick.
Robert Herrick was an early modern English poet whose work rejected the Puritan sensibilities of his day in favor of embracing the pleasures of life. His poems were thus largely unread in the Victorian period, and have been marginalized in scholarship ever since. This poem, "Delight in Disorder," was published in his 1648 collection, Hesperides. It reflects on the joys to be found in casting aside expectations of propriety and neatness.
