Darkness of Dragons Overview

Tui Sutherland's fantasy novel, Wings of Fire Book 10; The Darkness of Dragons, is the ongoing story of the dragons of Pyrrhia. In this installment, a SandWing named Qibli is torn between his loyalty to his friends and his loyalty to his family. While some members of his group are confronting Darkstalker, Qibli and Winter travel to the Sand Kingdom where they cope with the fallout of Darkstalker's spells. They travel to the Night Kingdom where they reunite with their friends and join a battle between Darkstalker's NightWings and the IceWings. Qibli brings an end to this fight, refuses to accept a magic gift from Darkstalker, and helps his friends ensure the end of Darkstalker's reign of terror. The novel's main themes explore constant changes in society, conflicts in loyalty, and the lure of power.
