Everything you need to understand or teach Circe's Power.
“Circe's Power” is a feminist poem by American poet and essayist Louise Glück. Originally published in Glück´s 1996 collection Meadowlands, “Circe's Power” retells part of Homer´s Odyssey from the perspective of the goddess and sorceress, Circe herself. In the poem, Circe examines her interactions with Odysseus and his men as well as the power dynamics between men and women. “Circe's Power” falls under the literary branch of feminist revisionist mythology.
