Black Light: Stories Overview
Black Light is a debut collection of 12 short stories by Kimberly King Parsons. Many of the stories focus on desire and loss: a queer teenager mourns the end of a relationship, a recently divorced mother tries to keep her head above water for the sake of her daughter, and a man runs away with a woman half his age, only to discover he has made a terrible mistake. The collection considers themes of family, mental instability, and body image issues.
