Samantha Kingston, known as Sam to her friends and family, is a popular high school senior, who is worried about her boyfriend, having fun, and being with friends. On the night of a big party to celebrate Valentine's Day, she and her friends are in a car accident, and Sam is killed. Sam is forced to relive that day seven times. She learns some important lessons and is finally released to the afterlife after sacrificing herself for someone else.
