David Levithan’s Another Day is the sequel to Every Day and tells the same story of two unlikely teens falling in love. Rhiannon, the narrator, is a high school student who has been in a rocky relationship with her boyfriend Justin for over a year when one day Justin acts uncharacteristically romantic. She eventually learns that on this day, a person named A inhabited Justin’s body. A has been waking up in different bodies every day of their life. Rhiannon and A navigate this unconventional situation together as they begin to fall in love. Levithan explores the ideas of identity, the dynamic nature of relationships, growing up, the defying power of love, and belief in the supernatural.
