Animal, Vegetable, Miracle Overview
Barbara Kingsolver and her family set out on a year-long experiment to eat as much locally-grown, organic food as possible. They included meat and produce, and they grew a lot of it but also depended on small farms, farmers markets, and a cooperative community. The family finished the year with a new outlook on food and a life-long commitment to changed eating habits.
