Anatomy: a Love Story is a young adult gothic mystery novel by Dana Schwartz. The story, set in nineteenth-century Edinburgh, is told in the third person and follows a young woman, Hazel Sinnett, as she attempts to become a surgeon despite her gender. She falls in love with a resurrection man, or a grave robber, as she attempts to learn through dissection. Meanwhile, someone has been kidnapping resurrection men throughout the city.
