All the Devils Are Here Overview
In the novel All the Devils are Here, the last installment in Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Gamache series, Armand Gamache faces pure evil as his elderly godfather is intentionally injured to keep him from exposing a fatal engineering flaw. At one point in the investigation, Armand is called to question his faith in the police, his godfather, and even his own family members as evidence is presented that seems to suggest no one is who they say they are. Themes in the novel include the strength of relationships, facades that mask intentions, and the good and evil in everyone.
