Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors tells the harrowing story of their fight for survival in the frozen mountains that includes death by the crash and injuries, avalanches and the eventual cannibalism of their dead friends. In December of 1972, sixteen people were rescued after two survivors made a ten day trek out of the mountains.
