A Land More Kind Than Home Overview
A Land More Kind Than Home is the story of faith gone wrong in Madison County, North Carolina. What was once a simple and proud church has seen its founding pastor die, its members dwindle and its location downsized. This period of change opens to door to the new pastor, Carson Chambliss. He is a man of strong faith, a faith that allows him to test the love and protection that his god offers him. When his methodology leads to the death of one parishioner, Adelaide Lyle removes the children from his church. Pastor Chambliss only becomes more and more secure in his position until the death of a second parishioner, a mute boy who has seen too much, starts a chain reaction of events that the pastor and his church will not survive.
