Summary

Sunny returns home in Chapter 16: Trouble at Home and Anatov says they will meet in two weeks. Sasha hates that Chichi is being punished when she performed such great juju, but Orlu says she was not mature enough to handle it. Orlu kisses Sunny on the cheek as she leaves. At home, Sunny is surprised to see that her dad and his friend are drunk. Sunny’s mother gives Sunny the phone to talk to her aunt, Chinwe, who is seen as a disappointment for marrying an African American. Sunny asks about her grandmother and Chinwe says she died with many secrets.
