What is the importance of Camelot in the novel, Off to Be the Wizard?

Camelot (London) is the capital of England, and it is where King Arthur holds court with his advisor, Jimmy. Jimmy has a giant golden sculpture of himself erected in Camelot, and the city was renamed at his insistence.
