The book is divided into seven sections, Gaia, Comporrellon, Aurora, Solaria, Melpomenia, Alpha and Earth. There are a total of twenty-one chapters within those sections, ranging from two to five chapters per section. Each chapter is divided into one hundred, four smaller segments which are chronologically identified and do not begin again at number one with each chapter. Segment length varies and splits whenever there's a change of dialog, topic or location.
