On the 6th and 9th of August two very big decisions were made by the U.S. that brought the world War II to an end. These actions were the a-bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which took around 340,000 lives and affected many generations. Despite the fact that it ended the war it is still argued whether the usage of these bombs was actually necessary. In my opinion the use of this newly developed lethal weapon is unjustified for various reasons, one the U.S. knew how harmful the atomic bomb was and what the damage it can cause, the Japanese were at the verge of deciding to surrender but they weren't given enough time, and there were other alternatives present which could have been used to get the Japanese to surrender and still reach the goal of showing its power to the nations.
