If a labor union works together they can pretty much accomplish anything they desire. A prime example to show when labor unions worked together took place in Chicago, Illinois. The laborers were stepped, kicked in the dirt, and disrespected in every possible by their employers. However, they fought and united together to change their status in the working world. People today do not realize that the labor unions in the late 1800's and the early 1900's accomplished some of the greatest achievements that still exist in the workforce today.
