Hey Kiddo: How I Lost My Mother, Found My Father, and Dealt with Family Addiction is a graphic young adult memoir by Jarrett J. Krosoczka. Hey Kiddo tells the lived experience of the author as the child of a drug addicted mother and absent father. Young Jarrett is raised by his two caring - but opinionated - grandparents, Joe and Shirley, while his mother is in and out of jail and recovery.
